Delightful Children's Zones: Transport World is like a playground for adults, but with the delightful children's zones, it's also a playground for the young at heart. I discovered my inner child as I darted through the themed retro areas, feeling like I was in a time machine. I even had to resist the urge to climb into one of the classic cars and pretend I was on a wild adventure!
Dogs barking at night.

Exceptionally good, beautiful room with added extras, outstanding facilities and a wine, MARVELLOUS location. Wonderful staff, and lovely as well. Easy check-in. Got a walk-in shower, dryers, and bathrobes, available in the bathroom. About 0.5 miles from Invercargill airport, ideal for early flights.

I had fantastic stay during our road trip!
The accommodation was amazing located not far from local attractions, airport, and a residential area, that's what I was expecting. The location was indeed super, on refurbishment of units...

From start to finish - a great experience during our road trip. A spa bath, a roll in shower, a hairdryer, and a spa bathtub available. Setting so close to New Zealand, a residential area, and a beach. Btw, located to the cinema.

The bedding is so comfortable, it feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast provided is a delightful bonus, and the location is nice and quiet. The nearby Grille Cafe offers excellent food and coffee. The hosts are amazing, making you feel like old friends. Definitely the best place to stay in town!

The bedrooms at The Lodges At Transport World are like a cozy sanctuary. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and I absolutely loved snuggling into the luxurious Hungarian down bedcovers. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere of the room.
Personal opinion, but I found one feature less appealing.

The rooms were super cool with awesome theming and comfy beds. Plus, they had all these cool touches like a movie theater, a chocolate room, and even a wearable arts collection! And let me tell you, the breakfast was fuego! So much selection and deliciousness to start our day.
The only thing we would've loved is if they had a sick party room with a DJ and dance floor. I mean, what's a teenage getaway without some epic party vibes, right?

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room at The Lodges. Despite its unassuming exterior, the room was of the highest quality and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in the furnishings and fittings really made it feel luxurious. Additionally, the proximity to transport and restaurants was incredibly convenient.
One morning, I was woken up by a delivery truck parked outside our window, but thankfully it was already around 7.00am and we were up. Additionally, there was a slight damp smell in the bedrooms, and the instant hot water system made some noise during the night, disrupting my sleep.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation. The rooms were beautifully renovated with a cozy fireplace and a spa bath that the whole family enjoyed. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch and the continental breakfast provided was a great start to our day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also loved the theming of the rooms and the convenience of having the transport museum and a cafe nearby.
We experienced some issues with the hot water during our stay, which was a bit disappointing.

The heated floors and spa bath added a touch of relaxation to our stay. The robes and large couch blanket were a nice touch of comfort.
Felt like a haven, everything we needed was readily available.
